Dr. Ashish Desai did his Bachelors (MBBS) and Masters in General Surgery (MS) from Medical College, Baroda.
He further went to Delhi for his Superspeciality training in Neurosurgery and attained the prestigious degree of Diplomat of National Board (DNB) in Neurosurgery. He underwent his neurosurgery training at St. Stephen’s Hospital, under the able guidance of Prof. Sushil Kumar, where he got tremendous exposure to brain and spine surgical cases including trauma, tumors and vascular cases among others.
He has a specific interest in management of spine cases, minimally invasive spine surgeries and complex head injuries. He attained Y R Yadav Fellowship in Endoscopic surgery at Jabalpur. He has been a Senior Resident Doctor in Neurosurgery at Dhiraj Hospital and Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Piparia, Vadodara, a pioneer of Neurosurgery Dept. at Parul Sevashram Hospital, Waghodia, Vadodara, and been affiliated as Consultant Neurosurgeon with Sunshine Global Hospital, BAPS Hospital, Savita Hospital and others. He is associated with Aadicura as a full time Consultant Neurosurgeon.
In his experience of more than 7 years as a neurosurgeon, he has successfully performed over 2000 surgeries.
